🌸 Hello 🌸
Phương Thảo is how my family calls me, Kei is how my close friends and German friends call me, and KeijLee is how people find me online.
The nickname KeijLee is originally my rap name. Since I was 14 or 15 years old, I have been very passionate about Vietnamese rap and often participate in rap music communities. One day, a friend of mine in the rap community (aka homie in hip-hop slang) gave me this nickname. I didn’t understand why KeijLee, but I was so excited that someone gave me a rap name. From then on, I took this name. People often call me Kei for short and later it became my international name (in Germany).
In the first 20 years of my life, I was born and raised in Vietnam. Most of the time I lived and went to school in Hanoi. At the age of 20, with the support of my parents, I set out to pursue my journey of studying abroad in Germany, a country I had never been to, which is more than 10,000 km away from home. Now, at the age of 27, I am a final year student majoring in media and communication sciences at the University of Mannheim.
My passions are music, movies, and photography. After a long search, I realized that music and movies are indispensable in my life. I want to have more knowledge and experience in these two fields. Although I am not an artist or actively involved in art yet, I hope that I will make more contributions in the future.
I also love things related to media and communication science. As a communications student in Germany, I learn from many great minds at my university and practice communication in daily life. Having to use my third language, which is German, to communicate with people on a daily basis, I experience many valuable lessons about communication as well as gain new perspectives. Therefore, I want to share with everyone about these interesting stories.
